The Glow Star Origin Story
I grew up on the South Side of Chicago in a neighborhood where the future didn’t always look bright. But even as a young girl, I believed life could be bigger than my surroundings. I dreamed of beauty, travel, culture, and freedom.
That belief eventually carried me far beyond where I started. I became an international fashion model, traveling the world and experiencing cultures that changed my life. I lived in Italy for ten years, learning the language and embracing a way of life centered around beauty, art, and elegance. Later I lived in Brazil for 3 years, continuing to explore the power of human connection.
Along the way I built a life as an entrepreneur—working as a makeup artist, getting a B. A in fashion merchandising, and managing events and logistics. For more than twenty-five years, I’ve worked for myself, building independence and designing a life that reflects creativity, professionalism, and purpose.
As the world evolved, I recognized a new opportunity: Digital Marketing! I saw how women could turn their knowledge and experience into income, creating freedom on their own terms.
Today, through Glow Star Academy, I teach women how to build digital skills, create income online, and design a life on their own terms.
My journey began on the South Side of Chicago, but it didn’t end there. And I want every woman to know that her story can evolve into something extraordinary too.
